160 hours of related training instruction per apprenticeship year
8000 hours of on-the-job training, with an electrical contractor, after 4 years (minimum 40 hours per week x 50 weeks per year).
Must score 75% or higher to advance to next level of education.
At the end of the 4th year apprenticeship, arrangements are made for the journeyman exam.

Minimum Application 

Requirements below:

  • Applicant must be at least 18 years of age


  • Must have valid driver license or other form of government ID


  • High School Diploma/GED/High School Equivalency


  • Social Security card or other proof of residency, if not a US citizen. DD214 form can be used in lieu of Social Security Card.


  • Applicant must be able to read and write English


  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the trade


  • A current resume

  • Brief Interview necessary, for 1st Year Students

On Book Distribution Day (TBD) ensure that you bring the following documents, or copies of these documents. We are not able to register you without them. 


  • Driver’s License or other Government ID

  • High school Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Social Security card or Proof of Residency for non-citizens

  • Bypass Exam supporting documents, if applicable

  • Post-Secondary Adult Vocational (PSAV) certificate, if applicable


We will copy all documents, and have additional enrollment forms to be completed at this time.
