New Worker Program

This program is designed to introduce new workers to the Electrical Trade. The students through power point, instruction by electricians, seeing, identifying, and touching electrical materials & parts and hands on work with basic tools.

  • Device identification and installation
  • Fittings and Conduit identification
  • Fasteners and Supports identification
  • Safety: PPE, Life Safety and First Aid
  • Ladders
  • Power Tools identification and usage
  • Wire prep
  • Measuring tools
  • Intro to pipe bending
  • Basic math for electricians
