Joseph Hamlin

Joseph began his electrical career in 2017, starting as an apprentice at a small, ten-man shop in Firestone, Colorado. Here, he learned the foundational skills of the trade, gaining hands-on experience and developing a passion for the electrical field.

Seeking greater challenges and opportunities, Joseph transitioned to Courtesy Electric Co., a large-scale company with a workforce of over 300. At Courtesy Electric, he earned his Residential Wireman’s license and quickly rose to oversee small crews responsible for wiring semi-custom, million-dollar homes in Erie, Colorado. His leadership and technical skills flourished in this role, setting the stage for his future endeavors.

Driven by a desire to break into commercial construction, Joseph joined ADK Electric Inc., a renowned electrical construction firm specializing in a variety of projects including schools, warehouses, offices, and federal buildings. During this time, he attended the IEC Rocky Mountain school and successfully obtained his Journeyman’s License. As a foreman, Joseph led significant, multi-million dollar projects such as Gudy Gaskill Elementary, The Superior Mall Plaza, and Building 48 at the Denver Federal Center.

With a solid reputation as a foreman, Joseph was recruited by Carlton Electric Co., recognized as one of Colorado's top workplaces. Carlton Electric Co. was known for its advanced management system and pioneering technology integration in electrical construction. At Carlton, Joseph managed the Arapahoe Community College Health Integration project, transforming vast portions of the school into state-of-the-art nursing and EMT training facilities. Moreover, he designed and built the company's first in-house training center, a legacy project that will benefit future generations of electricians.

In early 2024, Joseph relocated to Florida and took on a foreman role at Arlington Electric Inc., based in Stuart. He currently oversees the Cleveland Clinic Central Energy Plant Expansion. This critical project includes the installation of a new 4,000-amp normal and emergency switchgear system and the integration of two new 1,000KW generators. These upgrades are crucial for ensuring the hospital can operate fully during power outages.

Committed to continuous learning and advancement, Joseph is currently studying Electrical Engineering at National University in San Diego, California. He is expected to graduate in 2026, further enhancing his expertise and broadening his impact in the field of electrical engineering.
