Advanced Troubleshooting of Electrical Systems/Lighting
This 1/2-day class will cover Advanced Trouble Shooting of electrical systems and the basic principles of lighting & lighting controls.
Prerequisite: Each student to bring “Trouble Shooting” Questions and or Lighting / Lighting Control Questions.
This course is designed for experienced Apprentices, Mechanics, soon to be, new and existing Foreman and Service electricians
This Course will cover:
- Trouble Shooting Gear, Circuits, Motor Controls, Lighting Controls and Service
- Understanding what types of fixtures to use for the project
- Reading blueprints and fixture schedules
- “Taking off” a lighting plan
- Foot-candle levels for layouts
- Different types and methods of controlling lights
